Parkland RCMP investigate suspicious drowning Update #4

Parkland, AB

Parkland RCMP and Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit have arrested an individual in connection to the drowning of a 5-year old-female on Wabamun Lake, on Oct. 13, 2024.

 On Nov. 13, 2024, RCMP arrested Mary Quinn, a 35-year-old resident of Edmonton. She has been charged with the following offence:

• Failure to provide necessaries of life

 Quinn was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody. She is scheduled in court on Nov. 20, 2024, via CCTV, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Stony Plain, Alta.
