SPRUCE GROVE -- Staff with the Tri-Leisure Centre in Spruce Grove have issued a statement in response to recent allegations of mold growing in a section of the facility's ceiling.
This comes after some residents reported that water stains and mold were visible above the running track, with one even reporting that they had previously seen buckets and towels being used in some areas of the recreation facility. The Tri-Leisure Centre responded to the concerns in correspondence with 88.1 The One.
"We have been made aware of a resident's concern about what appears to be mold on a section of the ceiling in our facility," reads the statement. "Our team is currently investigating and will address any maintenance concerns as appropriate."
We'll have more information on this story as it becomes available.
