STONY PLAIN -- Parkland RCMP have charged a 67-year-old man after he committed an indecent act in early June.
An investigation into the matter was launched after police received a report on June 6, 2026. The suspect, who was employed as a window cleaner for a commercial company, was accused of exposing himself while cleaning the windows of a residence in Stony Plain. As a result of the investigation, the accused was identified as 67-year-old Robert Bennett, a resident of Spruce Grove.
"Bennett was arrested and charged with one count of committing an indecent act," said Cst. Brody Dyson with the Parkland RCMP. "Bennett appeared before a justice of the peace and was released on a release order. He is scheduled to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert on Oct. 6, 2026."
Police believe that there may be additional victims in connection with this case. Anyone who believes they have been a victim of Bennett, or knows someone who has, is encouraged to contact the Parkland RCMP at 825-220-7267.
