ENOCH -- A deadly two-vehicle collision near Enoch remains under investigation.
According to Parkland RCMP, the crash involved a Jeep and a pickup truck and took place at approximately 3:26 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, at Highway 627 and Highway 60. It's reported that the two occupants of the Jeep, described as a 69-year-old male and a 64-year-old female from Stony Plain, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Parkland RCMP say that the lone occupant of the pickup suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital, and his current condition is unknown. A collision re-constructionist attended the scene and the cause of the collision is now under investigation. The area was closed to traffic for several hours but has since reopened to traffic.
