The Town of Stony Plain is pleased to announce the release of its 2024 Annual Report. This report provides residents, business owners, and community partners with a transparent and comprehensive overview of the past year’s financial performance, strategic investments, and significant community initiatives.

The report is guided by the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (CAnFR) standards but is more than a financial summary. It’s a strategic tool that shows how resources are managed, and progress is measured, with clear updates on capital projects, development, infrastructure, and long-term planning. The Annual Report reflects the Town’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery.

“As our community grows, we remain focused on long-term planning, sustainable development, and preserving the qualities that make our town unique,” says Mayor William Choy. “This report reflects the collective efforts of Council, Administration, and our many partners to enhance the services, infrastructure, and quality of life that our residents value most. From capital investments to cultural initiatives, each accomplishment outlined in the report is rooted in collaboration and shared purpose.”

Chief Administrative Officer Thomas Goulden adds, “The Annual Report provides a valuable opportunity to assess our progress and highlight the collaborative efforts between our staff, partners, and community members. This is not just a record of financial health, it’s a reflection of the people, progress and priorities that make the community of Stony Plain thrive.”
