SPRUCE GROVE -- A Spruce Grove man accused of sexually assaulting women as far back as 1984 is facing multiple charges.
Parkland RCMP say 69-year-old Patrick Willis Fair has been charged with five counts of sexual assault after several victims were identified as part of a recent investigation conducted by the RCMP's Special Investigations Unit (SIU).
Police began looking into the matter in October 2025 after receiving a report of a sexual assault involving a female youth. Further investigation determined that additional female victims existed spanning from 1984 to 2025.
"The investigation began with a report of sexual assault that occurred in the summer of 2025 involving a female youth," says Cpl. Rachel Geense of the Parkland RCMP SIU. "Due to the period of time these offences are alleged to have occurred, it is our concern that additional victims may exist and have not yet come forward."
If you or someone you know was a victim of Patrick Fair, you're asked to call the Parkland Specialized Investigations Unit RCMP at 825-220-2085 or the Parkland RCMP at 825-220-7267(RCMP). If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
Fair is described as 5'11", approximately 176lbs, with a fair complexion, slender build, and white hair. He has been released from custody with his next court appearance on Mar. 25, 2026, at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert.
