St. Albert RCMP are asking for public assistance in identifying five male individuals involved with a jewelry store theft that occurred in St. Albert Centre on April 1, 2025 between 6:10 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. St. Albert RCMP described this as a distraction theft. Three suspects entered the business and distracted the employees while the other two suspects entered the store and stole the contents in the safe. The suspects left the store separately, not to cause suspicion, and the theft was not discovered until later that evening.
All five suspects are described as:
- Male
- Medium to larger build
- Medium complexion
- Dark hair and/or facial hair
- In their 30’s or 40’s
Items stolen included:
- Numerous Diamond Rings
- Numerous Gemstone Rings
- Gold Chains
- Watches
- Cash
St. Albert RCMP want to inform citizens that distraction theft is common in all types of businesses but jewelry thefts are on the rise throughout country.
