SPRING LAKE ----- The Village of Spring Lake raised 1,415 pounds of food with their 2025 Santa Run for the Parkland Food Bank donation.
The village's annual Santa Run was held on December 14th and donations were collected by Santa for the Parkland Food Bank. Residents dropped off their donations on Santa's sleigh, brought them to the village office during office hours, and handed them to the elves who stopped by before Santa and Mrs. Claus.
More than 1400 pounds of food were raised this year compared to last year's total of 1,307 pounds. Cash donations of $240 and a $25 visa gift card was also collected along with the food.
The village credits the incredible generosity of the community for the huge success of the event and is grateful to everyone who participated, donated and helped spread holiday cheer.
