PARKLAND COUNTY -- RCMP are appealing for additional victims in connection with an alleged sex offender.

44-year-old Brian Jenkins was arrested on April 27, 2025, after Parkland RCMP observed a vehicle driving in a concerning manner and initiated a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, it was learned that Jenkins was in breach of court-imposed conditions prohibiting him from being in contact with anyone under the age of 16.

"He was remanded into custody in reference to the investigation, with his next court appearance to be December 17 in St. Albert," said Theresa Martins, Media Relations Officer with the Parkland RCMP.

After the arrest, the Parkland RCMP's Special Investigations Unit assumed the investigation and identified an additional four victims related to several other offences. They believe there could be more victims and encourage those individuals to come forward.

Jenkins, a resident of Stony Plain, is currently facing numerous charges:

  • Sexual interference;
  • Invitation to Sexual Touching;
  • Make Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Minor;
  • Child Luring;
  • Making Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material (x2);
  • Possessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material (x2);
  • Accessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material;
  • Breach of Prohibition Order (x4).

If you or someone you know was a victim of Brian Jenkins, please call the Parkland Specialized Investigations Unit RCMP at 825-220-2085.  If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS)
