Parkland County---- Parkland County's second installment of the fall water wells workshop series will be held on October 29th.
The workshop, which will take place from 6:30- 8:00 P.M. will cover topics such as common well programs, shock chlorination and identifying contamination risks. Parkland county is encouraging people to attend live as they'll be able to seek answers from experts. However, for those who are unable to attend, the county will be posting the recording online.
The first installment of the workshop took place on October 22nd and covered topics like Groundwater 101 and understanding drilling report.
The next and final installment of the workshop will take place on November 5th and is called sampling, testing and treating well water.
The county says that water well owners can choose all three workshops, or the workshop they feel most aligns with their needs. Informational materials for well owners to access are also available online.
