Lac Ste. Anne County
Due to a very high fire hazard rating for Lac Ste. Anne County, a FIRE ADVISORY has been issued until further notice.
What this means:
- With increased temperatures and dry conditions, the County will NOT be authorizing any new Fire Permits for large burns until further notice. Smaller burns may be considered with prior approval, contact your Fire Guardian for details.
- Currently issued Fire Permits for allowed burning and any burn barrels, campfires, wood-fired appliances, and approved fire pits will be allowed at this time; however, please use with extreme caution with more frequent monitoring and enhanced extinguishing methods.
- Existing Fire Permits will not be granted extensions while the Fire Advisory is in effect, and no new lighting of piles is allowed without prior approval.
- Fireworks during a Fire Advisory or Fire Ban are prohibited.
Report any wildfire to 9-1-1 with exact location to assist Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services in locating and promptly extinguishing them.
