Energy City Cactus Rats Gear Up for Homecoming Weekend at Henry Singer Ballpark in Spruce Grove!

 After a whirlwind start to their inaugural season, the Energy City Cactus Rats are finally coming home, at least for the weekend, and we’re inviting you to be part of the excitement.

Mark your calendars: Saturday, July 5 at 5:05 PM and Sunday, July 6 at 1:35 PM, the Cactus Rats will host their much-anticipated Homecoming Weekend at Henry Singer Ballpark in Spruce Grove. This special two-game series promises big-league energy, community pride, and classic summer fun... Cactus Rats style.

Ballpark Construction Update
Construction on the new Energy City Metro Ballpark continues, and while it’s not quite ready for opening day, the Cactus Rats are still bringing high-quality baseball to their fans.

“We’ve always been upfront about the ballpark build,” said Pat Cassidy, Managing Partner. “There was never a hard opening date, but we’ve remained committed to transparency. The finish line is in sight, and until then, we’re playing our hearts out for Metro Edmonton and our fans.”

What to Expect at Henry Singer Park:

• Grassroots vibes with real community charm
• Bring your lawn chair or blanket
• Enjoy shade under mature trees
• On-site washrooms available
• Food trucks with delicious summer eats
• Beer garden by Raven Wolf Brewery (18+)

This is summer baseball at its finest: laid back, lively, and meant to be shared.

Rainout & Refund Policy (WCBL Standard):

• Games cancelled before becoming official (under 4½ innings) = automatic ticket voucher via Igniter Ticketing
• Games completed (5+ innings) = official and final
