Spruce Grove, AB
The City of Spruce Grove will host free, community watch parties for each game of the Stanley Cup Final, starting on Wednesday, June 4. The watch parties will take place at Thompson Family Arena inside the new Heavy Metal Place recreation and culture facility. The television broadcast of the games will be projected onto the jumbotron video screens inside the arena.
“The energy and excitement around the Oilers’ Stanley Cup run is absolutely electric and we want to give our community a fun, free, and unforgettable way to experience it together,” said Mayor Jeff Acker. “We recently opened this incredible new facility at Heavy Metal Place and we’re excited to bring people together to celebrate, cheer, and show our support. Let’s pack the arena, wear our blue and orange, and show the Oilers that Spruce Grove is behind them all the way!”
The watch parties are free to attend but tickets are required. More information is available at sprucegrove.org/WatchParty
