PARKLAND COUNTY -- A 44-year-old suspect has been arrested following a major stolen property investigation.
According to RCMP, the investigation concluded on Jan. 7, 2026, after a search warrant was executed at a residence near Range Road 30 in Parkland County. This search was conducted by members of the Alberta RCMP Community Response Team, with the assistance of RCMP Air Services, Parkland RCMP, and the Parkland RCMP Crime Reduction Unit.
Following their search, police arrested a male on multiple charges and a female on separate outstanding warrants. As a result of the warrant, police located and seized a variety of stolen items, drugs, and weapons including:
- 9 non-restricted firearms,
- 1 loaded non-restricted firearm,
- 2 travel trailers,
- 3 flat-deck trailers,
- 1 Nissan Maxima,
- 1 Yamaha motorbike,
- And 10 grams of methamphetamine.
Justin Anger, 44, has been charged with the following offences:
- Unauthorized Possession of a firearm x 10,
- Possession of a loaded firearm,
- Careless storage of a firearm,
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 x 5,
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 x 2,
- Tampering with a Vehicle Identification number x 2.
Anger was remanded with his next court appearance set for Jan. 14, 2026 at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert.
