SPRUCE GROVE----The City of Spruce Grove is making improvements along King Street to enhance the experience for pedestrians.
These improvements include pedestrian activated flashing crosswalk lights, audible signals, upgraded ramps, refreshed concrete and freshly painted crosswalks. These new upgrades are meant to enhance accessibility for anyone who walks, rolls or bikes through the area.
Recent work took place at several key locations including King Street and Hazelwood Lane, King Street and Church Road, King Street and Agrena Road, King Street between Woodhaven Middle School and Brookwood School, and King Street and Heritage Grove Trail (in progress).
The city says these improvements are a part of the city's commitment to making Spruce Grove a safe, accessible and walkable community.
