Stony Plain, AB
High winds on January 21 created several snow drifts around town. Today the crews are pausing residential snow removal to focus on clearing snow drifts on primary roads and in some problem areas around town. Residential snow removal will resume on Thursday.
January 23 - Crews will be in Willow Park and Woodlands
With the current conditions, the ice is packed very solid and they are not able to get down to the road surface. The process is taking longer than usual and we appreciate your patience. At this time, crews are not returning to do a second pass in neighborhoods, the priority is to level the high spots and reduce the ruts.
Visit the Road Maintenance Page for a listing of when we will be in your neighborhood and watch for signs on the roads.
