SPRUCE GROVE -- Parkland RCMP have arrested a 41-year-old suspect on drug trafficking charges.
Spruce Grove resident Tyler Wilkins was taken into custody after a search was conducted at his home on McLeod Avenue. The search followed a two-week long investigation, which involved the Alberta RCMP Community Response Team and the Sheriff Investigative Support Surveillance Unit.
During the search on November 19, 2025, police recovered 243.5 grams of cocaine, five tablets of suspected Fentanyl, five grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and $2,275.00 of Canadian currency. He's been charged with the following offences:
- Trafficking Controlled Substance Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Psilocybin Mushrooms
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Tyler Wilkins has been released from custody and will appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert on December 17, 2025.
