PARKLAND COUNTY---- Parkland Food Bank Society will be joining the Coldest Night of the Year walk on February 28th.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a fundraising walk to support local charities serving people experiencing homelessness and hunger in the winter season.
The Parkland Food Bank Society is participating in the walk to help families experiencing food insecurity in the tri region. The goal of the walk is to raise 70,000 dollars.
Those interested to participate can register online and bring their friends, family and neighbors. They can also create a name for their team and plan standout costumes.
The Coldest Night of the Year is hosted nationally across Canada and the U.S by the Blue Sea Foundation.
