LEDUC -- Residents are invited to have their say on local policing as part of a new survey launched by Leduc RCMP.
Mounties say the survey for 2026 will help the local detachment determine its areas of focus for the upcoming year. Residents of the City of Leduc, Leduc County, and the Town of Calmar are encouraged to take part in the survey from now until Feb. 2, 2026. Members of the public who are employed in any of the aforementioned municipalities are also eligible to complete the survey.
The questions relate to a number of areas, including the issues that most affect your sense of safety. RCMP are also seeking to understand residents' overall satisfaction relating to police response when help is needed, and about residents' opinions regarding police involvement in non-criminal situations.
