STONY PLAIN---- The Town of Stony Plain has released its 2025 Annual Report.
The report is in accordance with the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting standards and includes an overview of the past year's financial performance, community initiatives, and strategic investments.
The previous year saw a construction value of approximately $68.5 million and 125 new housing starts. The town also advanced their sustainability initiatives, expanded recycling programs and achieved a 56 percent waste diversion rate.
2025 also saw the town achieve a record 1,130 active business licenses and the completion of the Public Works Administration Building. The report also highlighted the grand opening of Hall Park and the continued celebration of Gather and Grow Day to support a greener community.
"The report reflects the continued efforts of Council, Administration, and our partners that enhance services, infrastructure, and quality of life our residents truly value," said Mayor William Choy.
