DEVON -- The Town of Devon will be launching a new transit schedule starting on Jan. 19.
According to the municipality, the new schedule was crafted in response to feedback from residents and transit users in the community. It's also noted by Devon Transit that the changes will provide expanded recreational opportunities and improved access to shopping, errands, and social activities in Devon and Leduc.
In addition to the new schedule, a three-week free ride period will also get underway starting on Jan. 19 and running until Feb. 13. During this time, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free trial, explore the new schedule, and provide feedback to help shape the future of Devon Transit service.
Here's what the new schedule will look like:
Monday – Leduc
Depart: Devon: 9:30 a.m. | Return: 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday – Devon
Bus available from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday – Devon & Leduc
Devon: 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
*Indoor walking and library visits
Leduc: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Leduc Recreation Centre – swim or gym
*Swim time: 12:15 – 1:00 p.m.
Thursday – Devon
Bus available from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.
