PSC's 44th Annual 2025 Santa’s Anonymous Program

Ponoka Secondary Campus is excited to announce that we have begun organizing our 44th Annual Santa's Anonymous Program for the 2025 Christmas season. This is always a HUGE undertaking for PSC staff and students to organize and is also completely dependent on amazing volunteers to ensure its success. 

Here's a bit about the program:  PSC Staff hosts a number of different fundraising campaigns in the community throughout November and December, collecting a wide variety of gift items and monetary donations.  These donations are then compiled to create more than 150 food hampers and 80 children's gift boxes, assisting local families in need during the Christmas season.

Our Santa’s Anonymous Fundraising Campaigns evolve each year, but listed below are some of our staple campaigns.

1. Toy & Food Drive: Community Box Delivery - Santa’s Anonymous volunteers drop off over 55 Collection Boxes throughout the Ponoka Community at many local merchants and service locations. (November 12th to December 8th

2. Charity Check-Stop: RCMP, Ponoka Fire Department & Ambulance partner with Ponoka Co-op Oils to collect donations from the public. (Wednesday, November 26th)

3. Santa Showdown: Grade 12 Students vs PSC Staff in a fun and light-hearted hockey game, hosting a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and half ice shoot out. (Wednesday, December 3rd)

4. Stuff-a-Bus: Student volunteers sit at the Hammy’s AG Foods & Paul’s No Frills Parking Lots, accepting food and monetary donations towards the program, helping fill food hampers for those in need.  School Buses are parked out front of each store, where donations are stored and transported back to the school. (Tuesday, December 9th)

5. Fill-A-Sleigh-Day ~ Toy Drive:  Santa’s Anonymous partners with several different local  merchants, collecting toys for the program. (Saturday, December 6th)

The last week of the program is spent collecting, hauling, sorting, allocating age and gender appropriate gifts, wrapping and finally delivering food and gift hampers to those in need on the last Wednesday prior to Christmas break.  This year’s delivery will be held on December 17th, 2025.
