PONOKA -- Ponoka residents are invited to say goodbye to the winter season with the Town's "Paint the Ice Night".
The community event will take place at the Ponoka Arena Complex and give residents the opportunity to unleash their inner artist on the facility's main ice surface. According to the municipality, the free celebration invites the public to transform the ice rink into a colourful masterpiece with washable markers, as no skates will be necessary, and all art supplies will be provided.
In a statement, the Town of Ponoka says the creative event is a great way to wrap up the ice season, celebrate community spirit, and leave your mark on the rink. After the completion of "Paint the Ice Night", the ice at the Ponoka Arena Complex will be removed for the season.
The event will take place on Monday, March 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
