PONOKA -- The outdoor rink at the Ponoka Arena is officially closed for the season.
This comes amid this week's warmer temperatures and spring just around the corner. In a statement, the township thanks residents for participating in outdoor skating throughout the winter months. Meantime, they also note that indoor public skating, as well as shinny hockey, will continue to be offered until this upcoming Sunday, March 22.
The schedule for public skating and shinny hockey times can be found on the Town of Ponoka website.
