PONOKA COUNTY -- Ponoka County will be hosting a public hearing on May 13th.
The purpose of the hearing will be to explore proposed amendments to the County's land use bylaw 7-08-LU. The amendments would rezone a lot along Township Road 440 to a mixed residential use district. The 30.85-acre lot is currently zoned as an agricultural district, and residents are encouraged to provide their feedback on the proposed changes.

A copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected at the County Administration Building, during regular office hours. Alternatively, if you wish to submit your thoughts/concerns relating to the amendments via email, you can contact Chief Administrative Officer Peter Hall at PeterHall@PonokaCounty.com. He can also be reached via phone at 780-783-3333.
The public hearing is set for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13th, in the Council Chambers of the County Administration Building.
