Partial lane closures in effect on 45 Ave in Ponoka

PONOKA -- Ponoka residents are advised of traffic disruptions taking place on 45 Avenue.

This will come in the way of temporary partial lane closures scheduled on 45 Ave Crescent between Highway 53 and 55 Street. These closures will take place during the afternoon and evenings of Monday, Oct. 5, and Tuesday, Oct. 6.

According to Ponoka staff, the partial lane closures are being put in place to accommodate road maintenance taking place in front of St. Augustine School. The school asks parents to allow extra time and to use caution when dropping off or picking up students.

Residents are also asked to exercise caution around work crews and to observe all road signs and barricades in the area.
