PONOKA -- Residents are advised of ongoing maintenance work at the Ponoka Aquaplex.
According to the township, this work is set to begin today and will result in the temporary closure of the wading pool. So far, no completion date for the maintenance has been announced, as residents are asked to stay tuned for additional updates.
Meantime, Ponoka staff note that the facility's various other amenities -- such as the main pool, deep tank, sauna, and hot tub -- will all remain open during the duration of the work. They add that all programming at the Aquaplex will also continue as scheduled.
In a statement, the Town of Ponoka says that more information will be shared on their website, as well as social media channels, once it becomes available. Residents can also monitor these channels for updates relating to programming and schedule changes.
