Ponoka Piston Poppers Seniors Parade

Alberta honors senors by designating Seniors week from June 2-9. The Ponoka Piston Poppers celebrate Seniors week annually by conductinga parade of antique, classic, hot rod, and muscle cars through Legacy Place, Rimoka Golden Leisure Lodge, the Long Term Care unit of the hospital, Reid Manor, Slater House, Legion Arms, Rising Sun Clubhouse, Lacombe Action Group Residence, Centennial Centre, Seasons Retirement Living and the Ponoka Seniors drop in Centre. The Parade will assemble at the Arena at 1230h, and include a route through Central, Northend, Lucas Heights, Downtown, and Riverside. A detailed route and times will be in the Ponoka News, telling Ponokans the closest place to view the Parade. Cars will be coming from Lacombe, Millet, Ferintosh, Bashaw, Three Hills, Clive, Armena, and Ponoka, and we have invited cars from Rimbey and Blackfalds as well. Bring your ride and join in.
