Two men charged following stolen property investigation

Paul First Nation, Alta. – On Oct. 2, 2025, the Community Response Team located a male with active warrants at a residence in Paul First Nation. Police believed there was a stolen vehicle on the property. Police attended the property and arrested a male and female on active warrants who were standing alongside the stolen Ford F550, without incident.

Ryan Wiggins (41), a resident of Alexander First Nation, Alta; was arrested on outstanding warrants and charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000;
  • Theft of vehicle;
  • Mischief;
  • Possession of counterfeit currency;
  • Break and enter;
  • Fail to comply with conditions (x5);
  • Possession of controlled substance.

Jayden Stebbings (19), a resident of Wabamun, Alta; was arrested on outstanding warrants and charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000;
  • Breach of probation order (x2).

Wiggins was remanded into custody and his next court appearance at the Alberta Court of Justice St. Albert is on Oct. 15, 2025. Stebbings was remanded into custody and her next court appearance at the Alberta Court of Justice St. Albert is on Oct. 15, 2025.
