
Parkland, AB
On July 10, 2025, Parkland RCMP, in partnership with Central Alberta District’s Crime Reduction Unit, conducted a warrant round-up targeting prolific offenders in the area. As a result of this project, the following were arrested:
Jayden Rose Stebbings (19), a resident of Parkland County, was arrested on warrants for possession of stolen property over $5000.
Ryan Allan Wiggins (40), a resident of Parkland County, was arrested on warrants for possession of stolen property over $5000.
Both have been remanded into custody to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Edmonton on July 11 and July 14 respectively.
As RCMP officers attempted to arrest a third person on an outstanding warrant, a stolen vehicle drove past them. This vehicle was followed with the assistance of Edmonton Police Service’s Air 1. After a brief foot pursuit and with the assistance of Alberta RCMP Police Dog Services, two males were arrested.
Cody Marcel Young (33), a resident of Spruce Grove, who on July 2, 2025, was released on parole, was arrested and has been charged with the following:
- Possession of stolen property exceeding $5000 (Motor Vehicle);
- Possession of stolen property not exceeding $5000.
As he was violating his parole, he was sent back to a correctional facility.
The driver of this stolen vehicle was a young offender, and therefore cannot be named. They were charged with the following:
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle;
- Possession of stolen property exceeding $5000 (Motor Vehicle;
- Possession of stolen property not exceeding $5000;
- Drive a motor vehicle without a license;
- Drive a motor vehicle while uninsured;
- Fail to comply with a sentence order (x5);
- Fraudulent concealment of a license plate;
- Possession of break and enter tools.
