Celebrate Canada Day in Stony Plain with a day full of family-friendly fun and community spirit. On July 1 from 10 AM to 4 PM, the Parkland Pioneer Museum and Heritage Park grounds will come alive with free activities, live entertainment, and cultural experiences for all ages.
The 2025 celebration promises a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere with activities including:

- Ultimate foam party
- Carnival games
- Crafts
- Train rides
- Cultural performances
- Concession
- Live music
“This isn’t just a celebration, it’s a reflection of who we are as a community,” says Mayor William Choy. “Canada Day in Stony Plain is about coming together, embracing our diversity, and celebrating the spirit of belonging.”
“We’ve pulled out all the stops this year,” says Lori Van Dommelen, Event Coordinator. “From dancing dragons to foam-filled fun, it’s a non-stop celebration of culture, community, and pure joy!”
Free parking is available at Heritage Park, and visitors are encouraged to make the most of the day by also exploring the Canada Day Car Show on Main Street, which runs from 11 AM to 4 PM. Attendees are reminded to bring sunscreen, lawn chairs, and their festive spirit.
