LEDUC -- The Leduc Regional Housing Foundation will be hosting its fundraising breakfast on Apr. 23.
The goal of the event is to raise funds for various housing projects being pursued by the foundation, including their planned redevelopment of Planeview Manor in Leduc. This major project will include the replacement of 81 lodge units and the addition of 66 affordable units, expanded parking lot, new common space, and more.
"We have a breakfast fundraiser coming up on April 23rd, and all that fundraising goes towards these types of buildings and projects," said Margot Hagarty, Executive Director with the Leduc Regional Housing Foundation. "Anyone interested in joining us can become aware of that on the Chamber website or contact us directly."
The "Housing is the Key" fundraising breakfast will take place at the Royal Hotel Edmonton Airport and will feature a hot breakfast buffet, live auction, and 50/50 raffle with funds directed towards bricks and mortar initiatives for affordable housing in the Leduc region. The event will get underway starting at 7:00 a.m. with coffee and networking, with the breakfast buffet to follow at 7:30 a.m.
