Leduc County interim budget deliberations set for November

LEDUC COUNTY -- Leduc County has announced the dates for its 2026 interim budget deliberations.

Budget deliberations involve the review, debate, and approval of financial plans by municipal decision makers. This is done to determine how a local government will spend money and raise revenue. During this time, they evaluate the costs of services and potential projects, compare them to projected revenue, and make decisions about tax rates and spending priorities to align with community or strategic goals.

For Leduc County, all of their interim budget deliberation meetings will take place at the County Centre, located at 101-1101 5 Street, Nisku. These meetings will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 24, Tuesday, November 25, and Friday, November 27. These discussions will focus on the County's interim operating and capital budgets.

All of the meetings will be open to the public, as well as live-streamed on the County website.
