airport
Wednesday, September 25, from 8 am to 12 pm, Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and several partners will be conducting an aircraft training exercise at the airport. Passengers and visitors at the airport may observe simulated emergency activity as part of this exercise.
There will be visible emergency vehicles and activity at YEG, but rest assured it is part of the training exercise.
Safety and security are always our top priorities, and these training exercises are important to ensure that all teams are well-prepared in the event of an actual crisis. The timing of this exercise is integral to our participation in Canadian Airports Safety Week.
