Indigenous Peoples’ Day Community Gathering and Good Neighbour BBQ Saturday, June 21st 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Location: Fred Johns Park
The community is invited to join the City of Leduc FCSS & FRN, Creating Hope Society, and BGC Leduc for this year’s Good Neighbors’ BBQ in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples’ Day. This is a great opportunity for the community to celebrate resiliency learn about indigenous cultural celebrations.
11:30 – join us for a smudge, followed by Medicine Teachings, Hand Games and Dancing.
12:00-2:00 - Good Neighbors BBQ in main park.
Bring a picnic blanket or some chairs and enjoy the day!
