NISKU -- Two people were arrested after a break-in at a business in Nisku.
Leduc RCMP says the incident took place in the morning of Friday, June 6, 2025, though the exact location of the targeted business has not been released. Upon arrival, officers located two individuals inside a secured area and were arrested.
24-year-old Hannah Long, and 36-year-old Travis Carr -- both residents of Leduc -- were charged with the following:
- Break and Enter
- Mischief Over $5,000
- Possession of Break-in Instruments
- Resist Arrest
Long was released on a release order after a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, and will next be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc on July 3. Meantime, Carr remains in custody, and will next be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc on June 12.
