LEDUC -- No injuries were reported after two vehicles fell into a sinkhole in Leduc.
According to City officials, the sinkhole was discovered on Thursday, July 31, in the MacEwan Greens parking lot. In a statement, the municipality says that it became aware of the situation when it was reported that a pair of motor vehicles fell into the hole.
Despite this, the City says no injuries were reported. They also note that as a private development, the infrastructure located under the parking lot was not installed or owned by the City of Leduc. At this time, it's not known what the timeline will be for repairs to be made at the location, but Leduc staff say they continue to monitor the situation.
