LEDUC -- Leduc RCMP has charged a 40-year-old male after he was found in the company of two missing youths.
The two youths were originally reported missing in the Two Hills area on May 6th before being located in Leduc in the company of the suspect Mark Sayler. While information relating to the investigation is scarce, police say that Sayler is now facing numerous sexual offences:
- Sexual Interference X 2
- Sexual Assault X2
- Possession of Child Pornography X2
- Luring a Child X3
- Transporting liquor in an open container
- Unlawfully giving liquor to a minor
Following a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Sayler was released from custody to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on June 12th, 2025. Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, and to protect the identities of the youths, police say they won't be releasing any other information at this time.
