LEDUC -- Leduc RCMP are investigating a break-in that occurred at a smoke shop on 50 Avenue.
Police say the suspect gained access to the business by breaking into the vacant building next door and dropping in through the ceiling. Constable Lindsay McNab notes that the suspect cut the store's security camera lines before stealing merchandise and cash.
"The suspect gained entry to the property by accessing the ceiling through a vacant business next door," said Cst. McNab. "The security camera lines were cut upon entry, and merchandise and cash were stolen from the store. The suspect then exited through the rear door into the back alley."
The suspect is described as wearing:
- yellow jacket
- yellow gloves
- red spiderman mask
