LEDUC COUNTY -- One person has died following a fatal two-vehicle collision near Nisku.
According to the Leduc RCMP, the collision occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning along Airport Road, east of 9th Street. Upon arrival to the scene, authorities determined that an Audi sedan had collided with a Dodge pickup truck. The driver and sole occupant of the Audi -- a 21-year-old from Redwater, Alberta -- was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Meantime, the driver of the Dodge pickup was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
