Kat Hennig

Hey, I’m Kat! I started my radio journey back in 2015, where I attended NAIT for radio broadcasting.

Then, I did my practicum here at The One in 2017 and was promptly hired on after that – so you may or may not remember me back from my Kat The Intern days.

I went on to be a radio creative writer in Edmonton for several years and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to come back to the place that helped me build my career!

I’m a local small-town girlie, originally from Calmar and in my down time, I love going to live shows, watching trashy reality TV while I cook and snuggling with my kitty Bun Bun (yes, she’s named after an Adventure Time character 😉)

I’m thrilled to be back at The One where I can use my creativity to help build the brands of local businesses!
